“Power of You” Spectacular Webinar By Rotary Club of Pune Sunrise, President Dr. Simran Jethwani & her Team. On September 24th & 25th, the Rotary Club of Pune Sunrise held its first-ever Rotary Youth Leadership Awards event. Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is an intensive leadership experience organized by Rotary clubs where one develops their skills as a leader while having fun and making meaningful connections. The theme of "Power of You” came about because a majority of the youth look for external sources of motivation without realizing that each of them already has the power within them that is unique and if directed in the correct path could lead to the path of success, both personally and professionally. Our respected Chief Guest DG Pankaj Shah addressed the Youth Globally, and PDG Deepak Shikarpur also addressed the youth globally. Dist. Director Gauri Shikarpur & DRCC Amit Shah also addressed the Youth of the world. There were more than 16,000+ participants that participated in this wonderful event from different parts of the world, like Indonesia, USA, Pakistan, Australia, UAE, Srilanka, South Africa & Jamaica to name a few. To add on, the agenda lineup boasted speakers like Manu Chopra, Jeniffer Macmohan, Himanshu Dubey, Vinaya Satyanarayan & Zainab Patel from across the globe who spoke on topics like Resume Building, Connecting to Your Purpose, Your Future Self, Data Privacy & Cyber Security. To add to this mix, there were exceptional performers like Penn Masala, a world-famous, acapella group from the US who have also performed in front of President Obama at the White House. Seema Golchha, a ventriloquist, enthralled the entire audience and had them laughing at every second of her performance. Rohit Jethwani, a sensational dancer and Bollywood choreographer, woke everyone up with his killer performances and candid words about life behind the camera. Praveen and the FPAI team, an LGBTQIA organization, filled everyone’s heart with love with their spectacular dancing and singing act Rotary Club of Pune Sunrise also partnered with one of the biggest technology companies in the world, Quick Heal Technologies Ltd as the team thought that in a world of digitalization people should be aware of the issues that one can face, especially revolving around hacking, and how to better protect themselves. Quick Heal Technologies was very kind to even provide all our participants with an e-certificate and an e-badge for their participation over the course of 2 days. This event would not have been possible without the constant work and support of the team behind it: Dr. Simran Jethwani (President), Dr. SM Khan (Secretary), Gaurav Jethwani (Convener), Avantika Makar (Head of External Relations), Luv Jawahrani (Speaker Coordinator), Megha Ganeriwala (Project Coordinator), Mitali Jawahrani (Marketing Head), Rohit Jethwani (Artist Manager) & Poornima Lunawat (Registration Head). The entire money raised at this event was given to several NGOs that work in the fields of education, support for human trafficking survivors etc.
