1. It was decided by the members of Interact Club that eatables should be distributed to warkaris. 2. Students were instructed to come to School at 2 pm. Jadhav Sir, Deepali Teacher and students made arrangements to distribute Bananas, Parle G biscuits, Chikkis and water bottles to Warkari people. 3. Nearly 30 dozen bananas, 100 chikkis, 200 Parle G biscuit packets, 200 water bottles were brought for distribution. 4. Students and staff were ready by 3.30 pm. Principal and supervisor were also present. Students guided warkaris to come in a line and collect the eatables. 5. Students were conducting the distribution programme in a disciplined manner and learned the importance of giving. They also understood about warakari importance, hardships of them on the way. They also gathered spiritual thoughts. Teachers also enjoyed the distribution and understood Maharashtra’s old ritual about wari. They all took Darshan of Padukas in the palakhi and considered themselves to be very lucky to be a part of this initiative.
